Chris Barr's Cabin 1863

This cabin was built by Chris Barr in 1863. Later a house was built. When that house was torn down in 1962, this cabin was found INSIDE the house. In 1992 the Senior Citizens of Zeandale. Kansas relocated and rebuilt the cabin in it's present location.

I love log cabins! There is something so quaint and comforting about them. And you have captured this one so well!

@Tracey: I think everyone loves log cabins... to look at, not to live in. Must have been a very cramped lifestyle. This cabin was approximately 10 x 12 feet. Thanks Tracey!
